Mercenaries Brigade: A Guild For Adults... IN PURSUIT OF NAKED FEMALE NIGHT ELVES!!!
Are you bored of your average, day-to-day guild? Tired of having your gear ninja'd by Ret Paladins? Just want to hang around Dalaran with scantily-clad Night Elf women all day? Then join MERCENARIES BRIGADE today! MERCENARIES BRIGADE is Ravencrest's top guild for your Female Night Elf fantasies! (and also casual raiding) Here, at MERCENARIES BRIGADE , there are over ten hot Night Elf babes to rock your world! From Feral Fadwa to Tantric Terresta to HotHotbeech, MERCENARIES BRIGADE is the place to meet the girl of your dreams! (and also raid casually). MERCENARIES BRIGADE is currently recruiting casual level 80s. We have 6 guild bank tabs and an ICC 10 Raid group that runs every Sunday and Tuesday. Note: MERCENARIES BRIGADE does not require you to be interested in hot female Night Elf action, but at least one of its members very much encourages it. "We are a mature content guild and we do not recommend that those under 18 apply." - Hotbeech, Guild Mistress of MERCENARIES BRIGADE . Indeed! Because of the graphic nature of MB, you must be 18 or older to join. What fun is a Toy Train Set without scantily-clad female Night Elves to dance around it? So remember, the next time you're alone in Dalaran, or freezing your ass off in every other part of Northrend: Luscious Larwen, Sensual Sylryn, Magical Mischievous, Decadent Dahlianna and the rest of the MB Night Elf girls are waiting for YOU! Apply now, and you can enjoy the adult-themed magic of MERCENARIES BRIGADE!!!!! Now that we've captured you attention with our silly side, time to bore you with the usual, mundane recruiting stuff. So without further ado: Mercenaries Brigade is a smaller guild where a majority of the members remember when music was still on TV (or actually watched the broadcast of the first video that aired, the first time it aired), owned an 8-track player at some point, and are still waiting for an answer to that poor little old lady's question: "Where's the beef?". Our main focus is having fun while progressing through content at our own pace. Yeah, we weren't the first ones on our server to to down the Lich King, but we are raiding in ICC and working on getting there. Plus many of us work or like to see the sun occasionally. In addition to progressing we also do pre-WotLK content as well as host other fun fun events such as scavenger hunt and Stormwind hide & seek. Although our focus is shifting from a social guild to a casual raiding guild, we realize that raiding isn't everyone's cup of tea and we do have members that do not raid, so all levels and classes are always welcome.
R
egarding progression: We currently have one ICC-10 team and would like to start building up a second one as well as acquire a few more subs. All roles are currently needed. We always raid from 8pm-10pm server time (which is CST) and our raid nights are generally Tuesday and Sunday. However, we occasionally have to deviate a little from those days due RL, but we do schedule our raids a minimum of one week in advance.Since we are a little bit of a more laid back guild, not a hardcore raiding guild, we understand that RL happens and you may not be able to join us on every raid. However, we do want reliable members that show up when they say they will. The ICC team does have a little more strict policy which you can view on the Raid Information page located on our website, but you don't have to give us your first born or anything crazy like that :p
If you are interested in learning more about Mercenaries Brigade, review our About us, Ranks, Raid Information and Code of Conduct pages. Yeah, I know it's boring, but really, just do it - they're quick, easy reads. Promise. After that, if you are interested in joining, visit the Recruiting link and fill out an application.
*Lack of Night Elf scantily-clad dancing may be due to constant use of Bear, Cat, Tree, or Moonkin Form.
*Mercenaries Brigade is not responsible for any injuries sustained in the pursuit for Female Night Elf poontang. *Warning: Ret Paladin may actually need on your gear. *Notice: We aren't really adult themed in the XXX kinda of way. Most of us are just old.
*Funny stuff and pictures written and taken by Zisa. Last three boring paragraphs done by HotBeech/Caileigh.
Progression UpdatePosted by CaileighAugust 2, 2010 at 12:09 am
On August 1st, 2010 the guild's progression team made it's first venture into ICC. All in all it was a great run. We only had three wipes during our two hour session this week: one was on trash due to a mis fortunate accident, one was on Lord Marrowgar due to us thinking there was a glitch and our vent going on the fritz and the final one was on Deathbringer Saurfang. We got two achievements during this lock period: Storming the Citadel (10 player) and I've Gone and Made a Mess (10 player). Good job guys!

3rd Anniversary CelebrationPosted by CaileighMarch 31, 2010 at 12:28 am
As our 3rd Anniversary Celebration comes to a close, I want to thank everyone that took time out of their daily "grind" to participate in one, or all, of the events. It was a lot of fun to plan and a nice change to do some different activities in game. I hope you all had fun this past week too!
March 25th we held a Road Rally. Everyone started in IF and was given a clue to the next location. At that location they were given a clue to help find the next location etc... The finish line was in the Shimmering Flats under a checkered flag. Zillaah took 1st place, Zymri 2nd & Dahlianna 3rd. Skulldriver was awarded a prize for his creative thinking when it came to one of the clues: Where Death and Sorrow meet. The location we were referring to was the border between Deadwind Pass and the Swamp of Sorrows. Skull traveled to Uther's Tomb on Sorrow Hill - truly creative.
On the 26th we took on Hogger, fondly referred to as "Heroic Hogger" as level one toons. Sadly, he got the best of us and never died.
Saturday the 27th there was a Scavenger Hunt. The list had 41 items and each item was awarded a point value. The total number of possible points was 139, however with a two hour time limit we knew no one would come close, but we figured it would allow for a lot of variety. Sillentbob came in 1st with 35pts, Zisa 2nd with 23pts and Saintly 3rd with 21pts.
Sunday's event was Hide and Seek in Stormwind. There were some really creative hiding spots that people found and we quickly learned that allowing people to hide anywhere in the city made it very difficult on the seeker(s). For round two we narrowed it down to a couple of districts. It was still quite hard, but a lot of fun!
We ended the celebration with a guild screenshot at the "hidden" Ironforge Airport (see picture below). From there we went to a cliff overlooking Menethil Harbor and held the raffle. Both locations were new to pretty much everyone. The winners of the raffle were: 3rd place (100g & Frostweave Bag) - Larc, 2nd place (175g & Frostweave Bag) - Repugnant, and Grand Prize (250g, Glacial bag, Frostweave Bag & WoW TCG Loot Card "Tiny Mount" - Sylryn.
![]() Thanks to all the members of MB for making it a great place to be!
Three Years Already!Posted by CaileighMarch 17, 2010 at 12:29 pm
On March 25th Mercenaries Brigade will be celebrating it's 3rd Anniversary. In celebration, we have five days of fun events planned including a race around Azeroth and a raffle. Who knows....maybe even Hogger will make an appearance! Check out the forums Events section for more details as they become available.
Guild CharterPosted by CaileighFebruary 23, 2010 at 6:08 pmMercenaries Brigade is a casual Raiding guild. Basically this means that we are a group of people that have prior commitments in our lives and cannot adhere to a strict raiding schedule but still wish to experience end game content. Our raiding schedules allow for greater flexibility of those who work and attend school full time while still allowing us to progress in the game. Congrats!Posted by CaileighOctober 21, 2009 at 9:55 pm
Congrats to Zillaah, a.k.a. Moonkissed, for being the new site's first registered user! I'm sending a Frostweave Bag her way!
WelcomePosted by CaileighOctober 17, 2009 at 4:01 pm
Welcome to our new out of game home :) Please excuse the dust and be patient, as the site is still a little bit under construction and there may be some kinks that still need to be worked out. A lot of the forum threads have not been brought over as of yet from our old site, http://mb.guildlaunch.com, but the important ones will be transfered within the next couple of days. The forums from the old site will also remain there so that you can view them, but you are no longer able to post to them.
Please take a moment to read the links on the left titled Ranks, Code of Conduct and Instance & Loot Guidelines (this link will show after your application is approved). Also, there are a few nice features on this site that our previous one did not have, all of which will show after you have created a WowStead account, submited an application to the guild and have been approved. One is the Professions page. If you click the link to the left in the navigation that says "Professions" it will take you to a page that lists the various professions available in WoW. Click on one of the professions and it will tell you who in the guild has it and what level it is at. Guildies will also have the ability to add some of things they know how to make - like Cail knowing the frostweave bag. Another nice feature allows for communication between guilds: a.k.a. guild alliances. This allows us to have a shared forum with Children of Azeroth and a way for both guilds to share events on our schedules. The shared forum shows on our forums page towards the bottom. And finally, our new Shout Box. This is located on the right side (at least for now), below the Schedule (calendar) and allows for live chat!
So, now the big question. What are the steps to creating an account here? (On a side note, after you have an account, you will be able to claim you alts that are in the guild by visiting the "Character Management" page. There is a link to it on the top right of the page).
If you have issues using the site, please visit http://www.wowstead.com/support.php (they host our site) where you can browse their forums or submit a ticket for assistance.
